EDIT: Too many series, too little time, dropping naruto

Thoughts: This is actually the first Naruto episode I’ve seen in in ages, in fact it’s almost been 2 years. Well, lets start with the good points. The animation, for a filler, is better than what I remember it to be, but the animation for Naruto was never excellent to begin with. The music was also good, it has always had the “cool” feeling to it. However, the plot isn’t so good, as expected. As I didn’t watch last episode I didn’t know what is going on, but the fact everyone just stood there watching Gaara get beaten up is just retarded. “if you go, you will only be in the way”, that’s a load of crap, they got 10 people there, just standing there doing nothing but watch. Also, moments after Gaara admits he has no chakra left, he suddenly use all these “jutsu”s. I guess you can argue that he was bluffing, but I just think the animators hasn’t thought through this very well. With Gaara’s reputation ruined, the rest of the episode is just every one training hard and Naruto leaving to train with Jiraiya .

Summary: I will keep this short, the episode picks up where everyone arrives, only to see Gaara loosing to “the ultimate weapon”. With Gaara half transformed into the One tail, he suppresses it with his will power. He summons his last bit of chakra to defeat his enemy and faints. The mission was completed, Naruto wakes up in the hospital, to see Jiraiya. He came back to Konoha to pick Naruto up for training. The fillers has ended, get ready for Shippuden!

The episode was okay for a filler, glad I won’t be seeing those for a while.
