Thoughts: Well the episode started of with some very comedic moments, especially when Chiaki tells Nodame she can stay over. This also showed that Chiaki does care for Nodame. The second half was more about the romantic side in this anime with Nodame reduced to tears at the prospect of Chiaki going to Europe.
In the preview it looked like many of the orchestra members were leaving, with Nodame trying to stop them and it looks like Chiaki is allowed to change majors with his appearance in the school with Nodame. I think that maybe he will take over the orchestra in the next episode.

Summary: A strange man is walking through the campus, with a tourist guide book of Japan. He snoops on different pupils practicing, including Mine and Nodame. The pupils start to notice this but Nodame remains clueless and his approached by him. He says his name is Milch Holstein. Nodame invites Milch to Chiaki’s house for dinner. Chiaki is really angry at Nodame, and he realises that the name is a fake one, meaning Milk and Cow. Milch finds out Chiaki was taught by Viera. Chiaki believes that Milch is a pervert so he keeps Nodame from going out with him, by telling her she can sleep in her bed. Nodame jumps to the chance and Milch is sent packing.

The next day Mine tells Chiaki that the famous composer Streseman is going to teach at the school. Chiaki goes to see him, and finds out that he is in fact Milch Holstein. Stresemann wants to create a new student orchestra. Masumi and Mine are ecstatic about being chosen, and as there is no pianist in an orchestra Stresemann chooses Nodame as a mascot.

Chiaki decides to transfer to the conducting major so that he can learn from Stresemann. Stresemann doesn’t allow him to change majors because he had a fight with Viera 15 years ago and he believes if the teacher is his enemy so are the students. At first Nodame wants Chiaki to stay, but after talking to Mine she learns that it would Chiaki longer to graduate. Nodame then asks Stresemann to let Chiaki change, at first he says no, but Nodame starts to cry and so Stresemann tells her if she kisses him Chiaki can change.
