Thoughts: This episode felt like a gentle reminder that this show is about war relief and not just about biologically enhanced solders with a flame thrower or a giant pistol. While the rest of section III was giving out food, Alice was at a party with all the snobs, really did show the difference in class, sort of feel sorry for Orlando as he is in the working class (who sleeps under a bridge) and Alice is upper class, belongs to one of the 13 noble families. Wonder how they are going to get together. The big dude isn’t the only person I feel sorry for in this episode, Lord Schultz is a sweet man (no, I am not gay), although he doesn’t exactly smart he tries his best to win Alice’s love. Leonir, something tells me he is a bad guy, there is no evidence to it but I just feel it. He does look sort of like the silver wheel guy with the mask from a few episode back. Anyways, not the most exciting episode ever, but it will do me. Next episode seems to have a little more interesting involving Section I.

Summary: I will try to keep this short, the episode starts with Alice’s flashback, when she was little she was at his grand father’s retirement home reading war books. Her sisters interupting she snaps out of her daydream, it turns out she is on her way to a ball, a moment later Alice remembers Section III and what happened yesterday. At the same time, Orlando was also thinking about what had happened, he was on a war relief mission, cooking food for the poor in a park. Oreld talking to machs about Orlando’s feelings for Alice, not necessarily love, but they know it is an irreplacable feeling. Suddenly an argument broke out, when someone tried to push into the queue. Oreld trying to calm things down, ended up making the whole crowd angry since soldiers have it “easy”. The workers backed off when Oreld pointed at the mansion and advised them to take it up with the nobles themselves.

Alice and her sisters arrive at the party, Schultz waiting for her arrival, only to receive a cold reply from her. As the 3 Malvin daughters walk into the hall, people whisper to each other asking if the rumors about Alice were true, later an old, short and obnoxious business man approach them.Lord Leonir appears and greets Alice with a smile. Here Alice suggests their engagement should be annulled, sinceshe will not be the head of the Malvin family soon, since she has a little brother. Trying to make Leonir understand her logic, she fails. Leonir only replied that she should feel sorry for the engagement.

The obnoxious business man complains to the chief, shouting at him for making the food from acorn, something apparently only animals eat. Alice stepping in front of the crowd, picks up a piece of food from the floor and place it in her mouth, after declaring that it was delicious she said to the chief, that she will hire him. At this point Schultz finally sees a smile on her face, he now understand what her desires are, and to understand even further he must leave her a while to find out (doesn’t really make sense does it?!).

Back at the park, Orlando gives his gloves to a little boy who was complaining about his cold hands. Other kids got jealous and ended up tugging on him, he turned to Stekkin who turned his coat into gloves which he gave to the kids. Seeing the children happy, he feels happy again. For some strange reason, he decide to follow a group of the workers into the woods, there he found out they were planning to attack the party which was taking place tonight, because of something that business man has done. The episode ends with Orlando getting knocked out (hence the title 1 hit KO)
