Byousoku 5 Centimetre: So sweet it’s almost sad

Although it is only 30 minutes long, it was 30 minutes of top quality anime. The story was sweet that it’s almost sad, I could empathize Takai’s frustration but yet he cannot do anything about it (and defiantly not us!). The plot itself was very moving, complimented with good animation, music and narration, Byousoku 5cm is a real tear jerker. Makoto Shinkai directed it very well, I liked how the scenes were visually complimenting the narration, this way we see most things in Takai’s perspective which i think is one of the things that made Byousoku 5cm so touching. I am defiantly looking forward to the rest and i will certainly buy the DVD. Bitter, yet it was sweet ………
