Licensed: Ichigo 100% (Finally~)

So it’s been over 4 years since the first volume, and finally Viz licensed it. Not sure why it took so long, some thought it was because I’’s was ending and Viz didn’t want to have 2 similar series going at the same time. This is infact one of my favourite manga, although emo and I am sure many of you don’t like it, I think it’s nice. Manaka being the typical indecisive fool in a harem. I do think they dragged on a little long to 19 volumes. Manaka that fool! First volume should be out sometime in July.

I didn’t really liked the ending, simply because Toujo didn’t end up with Manaka, I always thought they shared a special bond, although thinking back, she wasted the whole series dreaming and thinking about him yet she did nothing untill the end. Nishino probably did deserve to end up with Manaka, she tries so hard! Still, you’ve got to give Kawashita Mizuki some credit for bring a series so far for something about ichigo pantsu, at least at the beggining. It was an happy ending after all, everyone is happy. I will be buying the English version when it comes out, great then i will have 2 sets just like my shana novels, sigh ~~

Indeed, the manga in english will be nice, the anime…. it was already bad, so with dubs (if the anime have been licensed)…. i can’t even image how it will turn out
Good point. I personally rooted for the ToujoxManaka ending myself and really thought it was going to happen, but … I guess it was a great twist by the mangaka.
At first i was also expecting he’ll end up w/ Toujo but then again there seems to be something special with NIshino.. ^_^
At the beginning I expected manaka to end up with Toujo and I was rather dissapointed by then ending, but still a very good series
Well i dont understand what touju was thinking can anyone explain to me what toujo has written in the ending of her novel to manaka in valentines day i dont understand????

I always wanted nishino to end up with manaka. In the ending that happened and all, but I still wasn’t satisfied. I think they should still continue it cause they ended to quickly. At the end they still had some loose strings to tie up and it didn’t seem like the main character really deserved such a pitiful reputation of the world (meaning he didn’t become famous enough and toujou was too famous). I was a little bit disturbed at that fact, and then when i saw the last page of them saying “lets start over”, i felt like i read all of that for nothing.
So i just wanted them to give at least 4-5 more chapters to really end things nicely. I know that this will never happen, but hey, At least i have a right to fantasize *crys*
hmm, you read the doujin (not H) ending by that taiwanese artist? It basicly take place after chapter 152 i think and its also known as the “toujo” ending (I love it!! muhahaha)

Nishino put much more in the relationship than Aya ever did. It’s not a matter of deserving or not, but without actions nothing will ever happen. So as much as I didn’t like the ending at first, I appreciated it as time went on.
