Thoughts: That’s right, more pizza! The animation of this episode seemed to a little worse than the previous few but still it had many surprises. C.C in her battle suit was nice, what surprised me more was that Gawin can be piloted by 2 people. The episode also showed a lot of relationships between characters, Lelouch fighting along side with Suaku as Zero, Lloyd and Laksharta, and of course Euphemia and Suzaku. It was kind of predictable that Zero was going to fight with Britannia rather than against them in just this one case. The offering of the energy filler almost looked like a handshake, the two of them working together with the background music had me feeling very “awww” . This is probably a build up to strengthen the impact when Suzaku meets Zero in battle again, maybe ultimately leading to hurt each. Now that Euphemia and Suzaku seem to have gotten together there will obviously be problems, since Suzaku is an “eleven” and Euphemia is the princess of Britannia.

Summary: Sawasaki Atushi a member of the Japanese government (who fled to China) before it was invaded, is taking advantage of Zero’s action and plans to revive Japan. Having already taken the Fukuoka base in the Kyushu district they present a threat. Mean while at the submarine, the Order of the Black knights were watching the news about this particular rebellion. Kyoto seem to be doing nothing about this and Karen asks Zero what to do just before the episode OP. On the Avalon, Lloyd and Cecil was also watching the news, when Lloyd asks about Suzaku’s condition. Cecil told him that he is willing to fight if Lloyd wanted him to. A jetpack is being installed onto Lancelot for air combat. Suzaku is no longer Euphemia’s knight, he resigned because he believes Euphemia is thinking too highly in his ability.

At the raging sea, Cornelia’s forces are taking heavy casualties, General Chan and Sawasaki was glad it was stormy, apparently God is on their side. Euphemia burst into Schneizel’s meeting about the necessity of martial law, she asks if she could help in anyways. To her disappointment there was nothing she could do, it was Cornelia’s wishes to not want her to be involved. At the academy they student council was preparing for school festival, Nina points out she is going to the mesuem today to sort out some things. Mean while Shirley was staring out the window, thinking about the note she found the other day. The note was written by herself, she suspect Lelouch is Zero.

 

Cecil was just finishing the installation of the “float system” for Lancelot, when she asks Suzaku why he resigned being Euphemia’s knight. His reply was simple, Euphemia things too highly of him. At the art museum, Euphemia was staring at the paint of Clovis, she was apologizing that she cannot avenge him even though she met Zero face to face. At the submarine, Zero declares that Order of the black Knights shall start their own country, there were much doubts however Zero points out Britannia isn’t going to defeat themselves, and they are going to do it, he also said the Japan launching the attack against Cornelia now is not Japan, it is just someone who took refuge at China and is being played like a puppet, therefore they shall fight against them as well.As Euphemia was leaving the museum, Nina rushes towards her only to be slamed to the ground by security guards. Being the kind princess she is, Euphemia rescues Nina and invites her for a chat.

The Japanese/Chinese army launches an attack at the Avalon, hitting the target Sawasaki thinks he had destroyed the ship, however the shield had made the misiles seems useless. As a counter attack, Lancelot was launched, using the floating system he is to land and destroy the enemy base. Back to Euphemia and Nina, Nina was obviously nervous, but yet happy. This conversation had made Euphemia realize that she hates herself just like Nina, with this she was glad that they met each other.

Euphemia, once again, burst into her brother’s office, this time she demand to use a private line to Suzaku. At the battlefield, Suzaku was in trouble, his Varis had been destroyed along with the floating system, what is worse, he is running low on energy. Suddenly he recieves a private call from Euphemia she tells him to love her and she wil love him back. Suzaku laughs he believes Euphemia never stops with the surprises, however Suzaku cannot escape he is surrounded with no energy. All he could ask was for Euphemia to tell all his friends that he had transferred and send his regards to everyone.

Just as Suzaku prepares for his death, 2 red beams hit and destroy all the enemy around him, from the sky Gawin decends. Lloyd screams in fraustration, he had lost since Lakshata has completed the canon. However she did praise Lloyd for the floating system, its like they worked together to build Gawin. Zero offers Lancelot a enegy filler, once again Suzaku goes into battle.

 

Working together they storm towards General Chan and Sawasaki, the word spreads, even Cornelia recieves the word, Suzaku and Zero both fighting along side each other. Trying to escape via helicopter, Sawasaki could only stare at Lancelot and Gawin when he was trapped by them.

The episode ends with Suzaku and Euphemia on a field, Euphemia now understand she wants to see people’s smile, with that Suzaku was once again her Knight.
