Thoughts (Spoiler): What an ending it was, quite a lot of things happened in this episode, some believe the pacing was a little fast but, I thought it wasn’t too bad. It was a rather pleasant episode, since last episode everything was dark and grim, I didn’t expect such a conclusion. I really liked how all the characters were brought back into the story rather than being spectators. Surprisingly Shiori recovered and is now back in school, Mai and Sayuri healed unexpectingly quick, just like Akiko and Nayuki is still as cute as ever, being half awake in the morning, Nyuu~. All of these suggest miracles do exist, and I believe this is a major theme in this series as well as being in a dream and promises. Shiori and Mai both guided Yuuichi to pursue Ayu, this lead to his realization of his choice, what he chose instead of reality; this I think was a good way to bring characters back into the story. I was also surprised how many times Yuuichi broke down during this episode, but in the end he achieved a happy ending along with everyone else, which I didn’t quite expect.

Overall I enjoyed this remake, the series started off comedically with the Akiko’s jam, the hilarious presence of Makoto and Yuuichi’s sarcastic character. As the series progressed, there were more story and later on Kanon slowly changed into something very melodramatic, something very touching, something very meaningful. Every character was unique, and I think what makes them unique is their past. Although most are tragic it linked in very well with the story, everything started to unfold as Yuuichi regained his memories. The animation was top notch, as well as the music; every scene at the cafe , “Canon in D “ was played in the background (only know this piece because of a “Jerry C” video I saw on google video >.<). As usual, a good series always leave me emo…
