Aria manga is still alive!!

Reading from Insanelampshade’s blog, the Aria manga has been licensed by Tokyopop. More info her. Just wondering how can 2 companies license the same manga… ADV must have sold it or something…

I’ve been waiting so long for this, the anime is so relaxing, really shows what the slice of life genre is all about. Anyways I will be buying these once they are out.

    Yes, ADV sold it.

    TokyoPop also has the prequel manga, Aqua, and said, when they bought the rights to Aria, that they’d be releasing that first.

    I’ve seen Aqua listed on Amazon (.com and .co.uk) for an October release.

    I am SO going to be buying that.

    I hope they manage to keep the high quality and “relaxing” feeling! Some of their previous releases have made me disappointed with the level of quality they put out.

    @ dm, thanks for the info. Definately can’t wait.

    @ Dop, Thats rather unfortunate fo it to be 4 months away, but mean while we’ve got the OVA coming up in semptember to keep us satisfied.

    @ Lenners, although ADV took their time and eventually stopped their quality was actually not that bad, so yea I agree and hope that the high quality is kept and the relaxing feel will still be there.

    Really…. I’m glad someone has got the licence and is likely to use it =P

    I guess this will be another to add to my shopping list for coming up then…. XD
