First Impressions: Zombie Loan 1

Thoughts: I have to say I am not quite impressed by the 1st episode. It has the same tacky and budget feel to the animation as Venus Versus Virus but yet it doesn’t look too awful. I don’t know when the manga was made but it also feels like the author just picked up ideas from other series and just clumped them together to create this series called Zombie Loan. The scenes seems to skip around quite a bit as well, I thought generally the episode was fairly fragmented , perhaps it’s meant to be like that to create suspense but in my opinion, it didn’t really work.

Having said that, there is still an element of mystery in it, and I think we can expect fair a bit of action in the near future, being good or bad is another matter. I wouldn’t say the characters are particularly outstanding either, with the generic girl and the generic zombie slayers. Anyways, will watch a few more episode before deciding whether to keep or drop, but either way it won’t be something I am going to blog regularly.
