Thoughts: Clare has turned into a reverse trap! I guess she can’t help it though, 3 months has already passed and she is still trying to hide herself in order to find Raki. Normally Clare doesn’t say much about how her care for Raki and his place in her heart, but we knew that she wanted to protect him and this episode reinforces that. It does show Raki is still alive, so Clare isn’t wasting her time.

Interesting as far as plot is concerned, since this is where Claymore diverges away from the generic idea of fighting enemies in order in terms of strength. The new villain loli appears to be plotting something involving the “recruitment” of strong awaken beings. The episode was pretty bloody, with the awaken being Duff, torturing the Claymores for them to awaken. Already we know this loli and her henchman is incredibly strong, since Jeane is No.9 and it doesn’t even look like they took any damage in order to capture the Claymores.

Once again a brief mention about the discrimination against Claymores, being the half yoma they are. This seems to creep up every now and then, I guess this repetition is getting a little annoying. As well as Raki, Teresa always has a place in Clare’s heart, as shown by the statue of the twin Godess Teresa and Clare which reminded Clare of Teresa.

Looks like Clare has mastered the quick sword technique, she is able to use it at will and managed to slay a group of organized Yomas. Oh, and her new outfit looks very GAR, definitely better than her Claymore uniform. Will be interesting to see how she fairs against these new villains, obviously the villains have already underestimated her. Also how is “she” going to interfere with this arc, the organization seems to have confident in this individual. Again an awesome adaptation of the manga, at this rate I am growing to like the anime more than the manga.
