Summary(short): Isley’s army, lead by Rigardo arrives at Pieta. At first the battle was not going so bad for the Claymores, in fact they stood a chance of surviving, however Rigardo decides that this was unacceptable and he unleashes his own power. Meanwhile Raki goes looking for Priscilla, and accidentally he finds out that she is in fact an awakened being. Back at the battle, Rigardo starts to take out the team leaders, one by one the leaders fell. By the end, Miria was the only team leader left. As Deneve mourns over Undine’s death, Clare releases a large amount of yoki.

Thoughts: They used fair a bit of repeats, pretty much reusing the last few minutes from episode twenty. The animation seems to have dipped a little too, but nevertheless it was good especially with a few changes here and there, I don’t know what to expect anymore. A lot more blood than usual, with bodies getting crushed and sliced open. With all these deaths, the bonds that were formed last week could perhaps motivate them to fight better. Like, Clare is already going psycho over Jeane’s death and by the looks of things Flora looks like she won’t be alive much longer.

Lots of extras compared to the manga, mostly the scenes when they were fighting the awakened beings. Again, it shows how their teamwork can help, luring enemies into traps,etc. Rigardo doesn’t look like he has any sort of special ability, just very fast and powerful as well as clever. I am looking forward to his fight against Miria, since Miria as weak as the others and I would expect it to be good.

Priscilla appears to be a lot more fragile than I thought, she probably hates being an awakened being since she wanted revenge her her family whom were killed by a yoma. But seeing her like this almost make her look weak, kind of misleading. I wonder how things are going to turn out between them, and if Raki is going to find out Isley’s true identity.

Next episode may involve “super” Clare, but since things are starting to diverge from the manga I can’t really say for sure. I am really interested to see what sort of ending it will be since there is fair a bit involving the other Abysmal ones and not to mention claymore number one and two. Lets see what Madhouse can come up with
