Blog was down nearly 2 full days due to Mysql errors over at the host, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thoughts: This episode actually came out quite unexpectedly, at least for me. I didn’t expect Shuga and his henchmen to catch on so quickly, as well as the quick fix in the relationship between Chagum and Balsa. Also the little bit of cliffhanger towards the end, we have already seen shaman Torogai can defend herself but how will the problem be resolved? As expected the plot is really starting to pick up now, but still they have yet to find away to fend off the egg eater.

It was quite touching to see Balsa care for Chugum, at one point I thought she was going to burst into tears as well. That scene was the main focus of the episode, and how Balsa played the role of a mother, it was very moving. Even though Chagum is not angry at Balsa any more, I still think there is the uncertainty within him since I don’t think Balsa quite convinced Chagum that she is strong enough to protect him. I can’t help but think, what exactly is this egg eater?

I was surprised when the elite hunters and Shuga took the direct approach into the village, since stealth had always significance in their missions. Surely if they have confirmed the location of Chagum, or what they perceived as confirmed before they discover that the prince is not in the village, making an ambush attack would have been more effective than marching straight in. Anyways, Tanda seems to have recognized Shuga from their meeting in the river, I wonder if that have any significance on the situation.
Not many episodes left before the end, and I got a feeling that “hunter’s cave” may be the final destination where the big “fight” will take place.
