D.Gray-man 70: Dark Matter Weapon = Useless…

Summary: Allen justifies his reasons for living and who he really exists for. With this, he activates his innocence in it’s true form, Crowned Clown. Defeating the level 3 akuma, Allen prepares to use the Noah’s Ark to rescue the others in Japan.

Thoughts: Awesome, I’ve been waiting for this episode for so long! As expected Allen regains his innocence and completely owns the level 3 akuma. Although his new ability has yet to be specified but it does seem pretty damn powerful. Even if it looks like it is overgrown finger nails, his new gears looks very cool, even elegant to some extent, at least much better than his previous uniform.

Some nice scenes with Bak and Fou, it really showed what they are to each other and we even got to see Bak in action (never mind how useless his attacks actually were ^^;). I am really glad they survived since I’ve really grown to like them as part of the show, unlike the characters created only for one arc. Since Fou is the “guardian” of the Asia branch, I am guessing she won’t be accompanying Allen to Edo. I hope next episode won’t be the last time seeing her.Although I am glad Fou and Bak survived, I thought they should have made that “dark matter” weapon a little stronger, simply because that thing DOESN’T KILL! Fou suffered a direct hit to the head and Bak took one in the chest, it did make them a bit transparent but it certainly didn’t kill.

Next week looks like it’s going to be configuring the Ark for travel and Allen bidding his goodbyes to everyone. I wonder how Lavi and the others are going to be saved, by Allen? Cross? May be both! Can’t wait.

Oh god, this thing is still going on? I can’t believe how long it took them to even get this far T_T

yep xD, you can just tell it’s going to be one of those forever ongoing shows…

To be honest, it didn’t really get all that exciting untill episode fifty-something, all of the stuff before were a pain to get through.

^ Lol, yes, that’s because from episode 27-51 were fillers. And a lot of the episodes before that were actually fillers as well, only about 14 out of that 1-27 were canon episodes…manga’s extremely straight forward and better i’d say.
