Another year older…

Pretty much the same attitude as last year, sucks to have your birthday right on/between exams. But unlike last year they are not going so well ^^;.
Rather than a birthday post, let’s give a little update on the blog’s status. Despite the lack of posts, I have actually been keeping up with most of the shows, in fact I’ve been watching more than usual. No wonder why my exams aren’t going so well, haha. For some reason the idea of blogging seems to bring about the guilt in me since I really should be studying, same for watching anime really but since it’s only twenty minutes per episode I let myself off, but the common trend tends to be one episode follows another and I end up in the spiral of doom (yes, I have fallen so low as to watch One Piece to avoid revision!). So in short, I am damn lazy, that’s why there are no new posts and I am doing badly in my exams.
As for how long this will last, my final exam is on the 17th of June. However, as some of you may know I am also taking a little trip to the holy land, the date has now been confirmed to be the 18th of June. I’ll have three days (two and a half if you count the travelling) to experience the magic of Venice and see what Aria would really be like i.e Muscular men rowing gondolas. Although I m quite worried about the actualy trip since I haven’t had time to plan it at all, I don’t even know where I want to go yet except the main touristy place. So if any one got any suggestions as to what places to go, then please leave a comment or two, would be best if they are Aria related (I’ve found where the first season’s ED is set)!
(I know what I’ll be getting in Japan!)
Unfortunately for those who are waiting more posts from me, my journey doesn’t end there. On the 22nd I am heading over to Asia for a month and a half, I am glad to say one of the stops I’ll be making will be Japan. So I will have to bid all the money I’ve been saving up for the past two years farewell. Sadly this also means I cannot attend to the 5cm screening with Makoto Shinkai actually there on the 22nd. T_T
So to sum it up, it will be a short hiatus. I will probably be able to post during my holiday but it won’t be frequent. Sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to my posts on Venice!
P.S - If you have recommendation, especially Aria related, as to where to go in Venice please drop a comment xD. I really have no time at all to do the research. Thanks.

As for recommendations… Well, even though I had planned to go to Venice too, I haven’t had the opportunity to think it through either. The things that immediately come to mind are the St. Mark’s Campanile, the Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs… uh, Marco Polo’s house? XD Well, just browse your ARIA manga, I’m sure you’ll find a more interesting place. Oh, that one island where they make that glass…. oh I remember you already thought of that some time ago… bah
oh, and before I forget… Happy birthday Ruki! May you live for many years to come, to explore Neo-Venezia when they create it on Mars… errr Aqua XD

Though I can’t really recommend places to go in Venice, I suggest you buy yourself a Lonely Planet guide and have a look through that. They are a wealth of information on some of the places to go, and since it’s your first time, I don’t think going to all the touristy places is all that bad.
