The adventure of Aria Shachou!

One day, Aria Shachou decided to go on an adventure.

His mission: To explore the wonders of Neo-Venezia.

As he journeyed through the city he saw Undines

and tourists.

He was having so much fun that he did not realise it was already really late.

He needed to go home, however he was lost. Desperately looking for a way back, he went down some stairs.

One step at a time he followed the path.

Eventually reaching … a dead end!

Aria Shachou was hungry, tired and lost. He began to cry.

At that moment he remebered one of the saddest moments of all time. With tears overflowing out onto his cheeks, Aria shachou could not stop crying.

Okay, that was really sad. As in, I am really sad for doing a post like this. Anyways, the reason behind this post is that I finally got round to sorting out and tidying the stuff I got this summer. And whilst I was doing that I was also reading a figure review over at Hunting the Elusive and seeing those pretty pictures I decided to try out the “new” lens I got from my brother a few weeks ago (funny how I haven’t touched it untill now).  So yeah, I ended up with a bunch of photos and no tidying done and decided to share them with you all.

Any suggestions and advice as to how to improve my photography are welcomed (in fact, please tell me how to improve, haha)

P.S - Should get Aria Pilgrimage Day 3 sorted out for tomorrow, apologies for the wait.

    I might have warmed up to Aria-Shachou by the end of the ORIGINATION, but I can’t feel sorry for him yet. :P

    You know I have the same figurines yet I was never able to do something like that because of my crappy camera… ;o; Seriously, if I had your camera I would do even more awesome stuff… My gashapons are catching dust! :P

    By the way, that story is good, it’s really emotional, it’s sutek- wait HAZUKASHII SERIFU KINSHI!

    Oh and I should dish out Day 3 as well soon too. Guess I’ll let you post first then :P

    @ TheBigN, Aria Shachou is going to be upset when he reads this…. just wait untill he gets home.

    @ Natsuneko, then get a camera! I know its quite expensive but when you compare to the amount of anime goodies you buy (don’t try to hide it! I read your blog muahaha), it’s quite affordable xD.

    Looking forward to your day 3 as well. Aria Banzai!

    Nice photo-story. Judging from the bokeh, you’re using a 50mm f1.8? Since you asked from some tips…

    - Angled profiles look better than side profiles in displaying depth.
    - Try not to center your subjects if you can. Follow the rules of third.
    - Background is cluttered. But you were cleaning up anyway…
    - Scenery screencaps would work better than character screencaps in setting the mood.
    - Close-up of crying Shachou from low angle would be better. Don’t be afraid to crop and resize.

    But most importantly, don’t forget to have fun experimenting. :D

    Drats! If only I didn’t give away my Hime shachou phone straps I would’ve lured him to my place in no time! He’ll be happier that way :P
